from Where the Old Roots Bleed
The first taste of Where the Old Roots Bleed. Red-hot guitars, choruses made for shouting and the blood of the '80s and '90s running through the streets once again.
Manifesto
The roots of rock are bleeding. Blood & Roots is here to heal them at full volume.
There was a time when an electric guitar could change your life. The rock of yesterday gave us riffs learned by ear, solos hummed like choruses, and bands that filled stadiums with just a handful of guys and an amplifier.
Today, rock feels like a faded memory printed on a fast-fashion T-shirt. We live in an era of disposable beats and empty hooks, where music is consumed rather than felt. Blood & Roots was born to cut through that noise to reclaim the raw power of wood and wire, and to deliver lyrics that actually pierce your soul.
Because roots that bleed are not dead roots. They are roots that fight to find their way.
